Abstract

192,805. Straussler, N. Nov. 15, 1921. Motor-cars and the like. -Relates to vehicles of the kind in which the wheels are adapted to be moved towards and from one another in order to vary the gauge. According to the invention, the wheels C are mounted on stub axles D at the ends of members A projecting from the frame. The members A may be arched to allow the wheels to be turned under them into the positions C, Fig. 1. In the case of steering wheels, the steering arms are made detachable and sufficiently long to clear the rims.
