Abstract

192,084. Bik, C. M. Jan. 18, 1922, [Convention date]. Ball-and-socket joints.-Closing means for pipes are so arranged that the regulation of the fluid and complete closure of the passages is obtained by the rotation of the exit mouth-piece in any direction. A ball joint 6 with a hole bored therethrough communicates with the exit mouth-piece 7 and is rotatably mounted against a seating 5 in the tube 1 so that rotation of the pipe 7 causes the fluid supply to be wholly or partially cut off.
