2009. Perret, F. A. Feb. 8. Driving-arrangements for screw propellers; steering-gear. - The driving-wheel of a motorcycle rests on and drives grooved rollers 2, 3. The shaft 9 jointed to the propeller shaft 11 is moved laterally to cause the bevel-wheel 8 to engage one of the driven bevel-wheels 6, 7 or to assume an intermediate position. For steering, the front wheel is mounted in a pivoted shoe (not shown) connected to the steering-gear.
