Abstract
20,603. Maddick, H. Feb. 19, [Convention date]. Bayonet - joint fastenings. - A ring for locking an electric lamp in a holder has camedges 16, Fig. 3, to bear on the lamp - pins, and notches 18 for engagement by pegs on a spanner. The upper edge of the ring bears against a shoulder 6 on the holder or against an adapting washer 25, Fig. 6. In a modification, a split ring, Fig. 4, is used for holders varying in size. The ring may be retained upon the holder by bending out the edges of the holder. Specification 9821/03, [Class 39, Electric lamps &c.], is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) comprises also a ring with a milled surface for hand operation, and a ring with projections to engage with a corresponding groove in the holder. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted,
