Abstract

Aug. 18. , Baths convertible into tents or valises.-A valise, capable of use as a tent or a bath, comprises a tapering body provided with an opening at one end capable of being closed by flaps F, G formed by continuations of the bottom and top, the flaps being also connected to the sides by triangular flexible flaps F<1>, G<1>. Ropes or cords H are incorporated with the fabric, and these are provided with eyes to receive pins J and rods K. The rods K are held erect bv stay-ropes K<1>, and the flap G may be held open by ropes K<3>. The flap G may be provided with reef points. All the pins J are permanently secured to the cords, and the rods K are preferably permanently attached to the valise.
