6867. Collie, J. H. March 13. Bayonet-joint fastenings.-A ceiling fitting 14 for an electrically-driven fan has two L-slots 16 which are engaged by pins 18 secured to a hollow stem 10 containing a contact-maker 21 and the leads 23 to the fan motor 3. The stem 10 is externally screwed and fitted with a locknut 12<a> adapted to draw the pins 18 down into recesses 17 in the L-slots.
