900. Oswald, T. R. Jan. 11. Bulkheads. - Consists in providing bulkheads i with stringers k attached thereto and to the sides of the ship, the stringers being widened at their ends as shown. In addition, hollow buttresses j are secured to the bulkheads. Modifications are described in which the bulkhead is of double convex form, and in which the stringer k and buttress j are duplicated. The bulkhead may also be corrugated in addition to being curved.
