Sprinklers, automatic.-In systems of the type in which automatic sprinklers are connected to the hot-water circulating-pipes of a heating-system, the sprinkler heads F on the ends of off-sets E are so arranged that their horizontal distance from the junction B with the circulation pipe A is greater than their vertical displacement therefrom, in order to prevent operation of the sprinkler by the heat of the water. Air trapped in the off-sets acts as an insulating-medium.
