Pipes, rising mains, &c.-Relates to means for securing even flow of liquid in pump delivery pipes &c. of the type in which one or more cones are inserted in the pipes, and comprises the particular construction shown in Fig. 1, in which the cone 7 is secured by a flange 8 clamped between the end of the pipe 10 and a bush 6 carried by a socket 5.
