Abstract
4566. Siner, C. B. Feb. 23. Detachable - rim attachments to wheels; tyre attachments to rims.-Detachable tyre-carrying rims 9, Fig. 1, are secured to wheels by means of tapering screw-threaded bolts 11 which engage tapering screw - threaded holes 7 on the flanged felly band 6 and plain tapering holes 10 in the inner periphery of the rim. The bolts may be formed of two diameters, and the holes on the rim and felly band correspondingly formed with a shoulder midway of their length. Detachable side flanges may be secured in a similar manner.
