Straight tubes between headers.-Tubes &c. in condensers &c. are so arranged that the distance between two tubes a, b in one row is equal to the sum of the distances between each and the tube c lying nearest them in an adjacent row. In the Figure, the distance between a and b is twice the distance between either and the tube c.
