Abstract

4146. Harms, W., and Springer, P. Feb. 19. Frames, joints, and connexions.-Relates to joints for furniture &c. The metal covered members 6 to be joined are formed with channels 4, and are inserted in a metal corner-piece 2 having integral arms 3 which fit into the channels 4 in the members 6. In the modification for joining together three members shown in Figs. 6 and 7, the metal joint member 2 is provided with three ribs 7 which fit securely into slots 8 in the ends of the members 1.
