Abstract

3138. Sage, A. E. Feb. 12. Advertising.-An illuminated sign &c. comprises one or more sheets of horizontally prismatic glass c. with or without a surface divided into a number of lens-shaped parts, and placed behind a design or artistic enamel or glass b, and one or m o r e mirrors d, which may be arranged in steps from the lowest point of the prismatic glass to the back of the casing. The mirror d may be hinged to the frame a, and the apparatus may then be closed in by a sheet e and side sheets of glass &c. An external auxiliary mirror may be used to deflect light into the casing, and the sheets of glass may be coloured.
