Feeding sheets.- In a machine for lining cardboard or like material with tissue paper &c., and for cutting the same i n t o predetermined lengths, separate sheets of cardboard are fed by fingers n', Fig. 1, attached to slides m<1> reciprocated by link-work connexion l<1>, h, z<4>, z from a cam f, which is loosely mounted on a rotating shaft T, and driven intermittently by engagement with h a ratchet-wheel secured,on that shaft.
