Abstract

199,988. Heath, G. W., and Heath, G. A. Sept. 5, 1922. Mariners' compasses.-In a liquid compass in which the float chamber communicates with an expansion chamber formed of corrugated discs caxrying the bottom glass, a glass plate k, carrying a support i for the pivot of the card, is mounted above the discs, and holes s, q formed in the plate k or its supporting frame, and in the support i respectively provide the communication between the chambers.
