Abstract

199,867. Ross, J. Smith-. April 27, 1922. Drawings to Specification. Detonating signals.-An apparatus for protecting seeds and crops from insects comprises a moving cage carried round a horizontal rectangular path by a wire which passes round pulleys on four posts. When the apparatus is used for scaring birds detonating caps are automatically struck at intervals either by clockwork or by a projection on the cage engaging the posts.
