Abstract

198,279. Cave, A. Sept. 23, 1922. Cheese cutters.-In cheese &c. cutters of the type comprising a pivoted bow frame 5 fitted with a cutting wire or blade 8 moving in a vertical plane and co-operating with a slotted table 1, the pivot 6 is arranged below the level of the table so that the cutter makes an angular cut. The table 1 is supported upon legs 3, 7 and upon a bracket 4 supporting the pivot 6. The cutter 8 is secured at one end to a hook 9 and at the other end to a clamping-screw 10. The frame 5 is finished with a handle 13. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which the frame has a number of holes 15 to receive the screw 10 to permit of adjustment of the cutter 8. Pins 16, Fig. 3, hold the material against displacement.
