Abstract
195,008. Thompson, A. D., and Bird, H. A. March 2. 1922. Continuous paving.- The tennis courts described in Specification 185,838 are provided with white lines by forming grooves in the plastic paving of the court and inlaying a composition consisting of sand, cement, granulated cork, shredded or strip rubber, and a small amount of powdered white Bath stone, or powdered marble, whitening, or plaster of Paris. The composition sets hard simultaneously with the rest of the court. The grooves are made by temporarily embedding a wooden bar or rod in the plastic paving, and may extend wholly or partly through the thickness. Specification 2424/05 is referred to.
