Abstract
12,227. Porter, W. H. May 31. G a s burners.- Figs. 1<a> to 6<a> illustrate the successive stages in the manufacture of a a gas burner or tip from a thimble of aluminium or other metal. In the completed burner, two holes c<1> are arranged at an angle, and above the level of a connecting-slot b<1>, as shown in the plan view, Fig. 7. The modifications described include a construction in which one of the holes c<1> is closed by a plate or flame spreader.
