Abstract

189,329. Morris, L. S. B. Nov. 3, 1921. Folding boxes.-The body and lid of a collapsable box, made of mill-board &c., are formed separately. Three sides of both the lid b and the body a are connected together, the fourth side of each being left free. The free elements e are superposed and secured together by staples j, and extensions d<5> on the adjoining sides d of the body are passed between the portions e to secure the box in its erect position. The sides d, g of the body and lid respectively are creased diagonally as at k to permit collapsing, and in the collapsed condition the two portions can be folded into contact with each other.
