Abstract

187,086. Robinson, E. G. Aug. 26. 1921. Rotary-tool harrows.-Groups of tines in the form of screw propeller blades g, Figs. 3, 4 and 4<a> are mounted upon a shaft that rotates as the implement is moved, so as to break up the soil. The blades g are arranged in pairs diametrically opposed, any convenient number of these pairs comprising a unit, the units in the example shown being composed of three pairs. The units are relatively staggered in a manner not shown in Fig. 2, and are separated by shaped distance pieces h, Figs. 2 and 6.
