186,803. Wynn, Timmins, & Co., Ltd., and Lewis, T. B. Sept. 3, 1921. Pivoted handles with clamping-devices for brushes.-Painting-brushes, pivotally attached to a rod by a pair of clamping-sockets, have the sockets pivoted side by side so that one crosses the other. As shown, the socket g in which the brush h is clamped by bolts and nuts i, j is pivoted by a bolt and nut k, l to a plate e on the side of the socket a in which the rod or handle b is clamped by bolts and nuts c, d. The brush socket g is adjusted and held at the required angle by means of inter-engaging boles or recesses and projections m, n on the pivot plates of the sockets.
