Abstract

172,868. Beckton, E. Dec. 20, 1920. Ropes &c., adjusting length of.-A clip for adjusting the length of a cord in the form of a flexible cable supporting an electric lamp comprises two cleat - like members between the grooved adjacent surfaces of which the flexible cable passes as shown. The two parts are loosely held together by screws passing freely through the upper part and screwing into the lower part. A spring under the head of the middle screw causes the clip normally to grip the cable which may be released at either end for adjusting purposes by raising either end of the upper part against the spring.
