Abstract

172,479. Windover, W. C. Oct. 15, 1920. Folding seats.-A folding seat for automobiles &c. comprises two right-angled brackets A, B, the parts A carrying a seat frame A<1>, and the parts B, which form legs, carrying a filling-in piece J. The brackets are pivoted at C to iron bars D arranged edgeways and flush with the flooring E, and when the seat is folded, the member J forms a continuation of the floor. A stop F is provided. The seat may carry a pivoted back-rest G.
