Stair-rod eyes; clip brackets. - A stairrod eve or curtainpole bracket a is formed with a blank hole c to receive one end of the rod or pole h and spring- pressed plate f, a stop-collar g preventing the ejection of the plate f by its spring d. A companion eye a<1> has a screwed hole i to receive the other end of the rod or pole, which abuts against an adjustable grub-screw j. In a modification the spring pressed plate f is provided with a stud extending through the rear cf the eye and provided with a collar to limit the movement of the plate f.
