Peeling, and removing eyes from potatoes etc.; cutting slices in succession. - A peeling, coring, and slicing device comprises a tubular handle a provided at one end with a point a<2> for removing eyes from potatoes and a peeling-edge e, and at the other end with a plate b the edges of which are curled up to receive a slidable wire frame c which is bent around or partially around the handle a at c<1>. The outer extremities of the wire frame c are inclined to the main frame and securely hold a knife d, the edges of which are curled around the frame. The slice thickness is varied by regulating the gap between the knife d and the plate b. To form the edge e a slit is cut in the handle a and the jumped edge e is sharpened or alternatively, a strip of metal is jumped from the handle and sharpened on both edges to be convenient for right and left handed use.
