Abstract

161,497. Prentice, H. B. Aug. 17, 1920. Distribution boards and panels; fuse-boards.- Contacts mounted behind slots, through which pass the projecting contacts of fuse-holders or cutouts, are constructed in one piece from a metal stamping shown in Fig. 4 so as to form two spring arms projecting perpendicularly from the rear side of the board, one of the arms having its outer end bent back to overlap and lie outside of the outer end of the other. The stamping has a slot e which is aligned with the slot in the board and two arms h, j which are first bent back towards the clutch slot and then in a direction substantially perpendicular to the board so as to be slightly inclined towards each other. The outer end of the longer arm i is bent back over the end of the arm h as shown in Fig. 2, and limits the outward movement of both arms when the fuseholder contact f is inserted.
