Abstract

161,117. Lakeman, F. S. Aug. 21, 1920. Fittings, internal.-The contents of a trunk, suit-case, &c. are covered by a diaphragm 1 having slots 7 through which pass straps 3 secured to the base of the trunk &c. and having a buckle 6 so that the diaphragm may be held tight against the contents. A finger opening 8 may be provided in the middle of the diaphragm to facilitate its removal in the trunk. A number of superposed diaphragms may be employed with the contents sandwiched between each pair.
