169,584. Springham, L. G. July 30, 1920. Animal traps.-In a tilting-platform trap the platform 2 is mounted in a frame which forms a cove] for any suitable ves. sel 11 containing water. The frame comprises side members 1 having meta plates a with U shaped recesses tc carry the platform 2 a cross-member 3 arranged beneath the platiorm, and an upright member 4 which carries the bait hook 5, and may be hinged to fold down when not in use. A stop 7, which may consist of a flat spring, prevents the platform from tilting too far, and assists its return to the set position, the outer end of the platform also being made heavier.
