168,218. Triumph Cycle Co., Ltd., and Franklin, A. G. July 10, 1920. Mud-guards.-In a mud-guard of the type having gutters along the edges, communicating at the front with drains or channels adapted to carry the mud downwards and backwards, the drains E extend down to, and terminate near, the wheel centre. The drains E preferably consist of channels open at the front and adapted to constitute the mud-guard stays. A baffle C close to the drain E prevents mud from running along the gutters to the front end of the mud-guard.
