Abstract
167,855. Bellasis, B. M. May 18, 1920. Counters and like stands.-A box or case is so constructed that it may be divided into portions A, B, Fig. 1, which, when turned inside out, are adapted to serve as tables, counters &c. The box members of each portion A, B are connected together by hinges e, which allow the members c, d to be swung round so as to turn the parts A, B inside out. One of the tables, counters, &c. thus formed is held rigid by crossed stays, and the other by a bent stay v, Fig. 2. The parts of the tables &c. exposed to view are panelled, polished, or otherwise treated. The tables &c. may have curtain rods z and adjustable removable feet w. The various members are adapted to be secured together firmly in box form by bars l, Fig. 1, and screwed rods m, n passing through grooves &c. i, j, k in battens f, g h.
