Abstract

167,808. Legnard, A. B. April 6, 1920. Moulding, wheel tyres.-A mould for retreading automobile tyres consists of segments 10 abutted and positioned by dowels and recesses 16, 17, and having fastening-bolts and lugs 16, 20. Each segment has a steam-jacket with inlet and outlet 13, 14 to be joined to steam-pipes by screwing &c. Extension pieces or inserts 21 are provided for enlarging the cliiamet-er of the mould for tyres of various sizes, these being provided with dowels and recesses 16', 17<1>, corresponding to those in the segments.
