Abstract

Swivels.-A swivel coupling for ropes and chains comprises a member a having a stem b terminating in a ball c, the stem and the ball being adapted to be lodged in sockets in a member d by first positioning the parts as shown in Fig. 6, and then drawing a flattened part j of the member a through a slot i in the member d until the parts assume the position shown in Fig. 7. The slot i is narrower than the stem b.
