Refrigerators, domestic and like.-In order to induce a positive circulation of the brine or similar liquid used in a refrigerating-tank for use in a refrigerator, in which the brine is cooled by the circulation of a cooling- medium in a coil immersed therein, there are provided one or more air passages arranged eccentrically to the axis of the refrigerating-tank. Fig. 3 shows such a tank 2 for use with a refrigerator, in which there is provided an eccentrically-arranged air-passage 4 which, owing to irregular cooling of the brine contained in the tank 2 and cooled by a medium circulating in a coil 7, ensures circulation of the brine. As shown, the coil 7 is arranged irregularly around a second air passage 3, the cooling effect of the coil 7 being greatest on the side of the tank where there is the greatest volume of brine.
