Abstract
Dye preparations for domestic use comprise an acid dyestuff, a weak organic acid, and gelatine or glue, made up in solid form in any shape. The following dyestuffs are specified:-xylene red B, xylene blue A. S., Kiton green, Kiton fast violet 10 B, acid orange II, acid violet B.N., brilliant sulphon red B and roccelline; and the organic acids mentioned are acetic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, and formic acid. A solvent for the dyestuff such as glycerine or acetone, may be added. The preparations dye silk or woollen articles without staining any cotton present. Specifications 14388/89, [Class 146, Writing-instruments &c.], and 111,365 are referred to.ALSO:A dye preparation for domestic use comprises an acid dyestuff, a weak organic acid and gelatine or glue, made up in solid form.
