Abstract

1537035 Pipe and rod couplings &c SEALED MOTOR CONSTRUCTION CO Ltd 26 March 1976 [7 April 1975] 14081/75 Heading F2G A tubular body e.g. isolating valve body 10 has an annular outwardly directed flange 22. An internally screw-threaded connecting ring 24 has a radially inwardly directed flange 30 which engages behind flange 22. The flange 30 has at least one cut-away portion shaped to allow the ring to be mounted on the body by passing it over the body flange 22 with the rim of the flange received in said cut-away portion. Preferably there are two cut-away portions being wholly or in major part to one side of an imaginery diametrical line extending across the connecting ring.
