Abstract

1537088 Coining L SCHULER GmbH 18 Nov 1976 [21 May 1976] 48111/76 Heading B3Q Circular or polygonal blanks 7 are fed alternately from two sheets 8, 9 to a coining &c. press by a linearly reciprocable slide 10 with two pockets 11 to receive the blanks and transfer them to a central work-station 2, a surface guiding one side of the slide and a stationary bar 12 remote from the surface bounds the pockets 11 and has a recess at the work-station to permit passage of a horizontally movable punch 3. As shown the punch 3 and a reciprocable die 4 coin the blanks in a die ring from which they are removed by the punch or die and a lateral ejector 15 on the slide 10. The tops of the blanks are engaged by a bar 14 on a strip 13 which strip is cut away to accommodate the punch; a similar bar may be provided on the lower bar 12.
