Abstract
1536309 Sterilisation indicators DRG (UK) Ltd 2 Sept 1977 [3 Sept 1976] 36577/76 Headnig A5G [Also in Division Gl] A temperature-indicating composition operates by reacting with formaldehyde under low temperature steam-formaldehyde sterilisation conditions comprises a non-volatile #- dicarbonyl compound (e.g. calcium ethyl acetoacetate) and a non-volatile primary or secondary amine compound (e.g. aniline sulphate or triammonium citrate). The composition is in the form of an ink including resin, methylated spirit and tannic acid.
