1535778 L-Tryptophan and nicotinamide compositions D A MAC-SWEENEY 6 Dec 1976 [4 Sept 1975] 36529/75 Heading A5B Pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of unipolar depression comprise only L-tryptophan and nicotinamide each in a medicinally active quantity and a pharmaceutically acceptable inert diluent or carrier. The compositions may be administered orally in the form of tablets. Preferably a unit dosage form comprises about 3 grams L- tryptophan and 0.75 grams nicotinamide.
