1534891 Dissociation of ammonia B PEAUROUX 9 Jan 1976 [10 Jan 1975] 00900/76 Heading C1A [Also in Division F1] A method of operating an engine comprises passing ammonia gas through a dissociation chamber containing porcelain particles maintained at an elevated temperature whereby the ammonia is dissociated into hydrogen and nitrogen, mixing the gas so produced with air, supplying the resulting mixture to an engine, and combusting the mixture in the engine.
