Abstract

1532130 Rotary clothes drier E ALLESCH and N BANK 5 Oct 1977 [19 Oct 1976 5 April 1977] 41424/77 Heading A4V A rotary clothes drier comprises a post 6 rotatably mounted in a socket 9, arms 2 pivotally connected to the post and extending radially from it, tension members 1 pivotally connected to the post and releasably connected to the distal ends of the arms, and clothes lines 4 extending radially beneath the arms, whereby on detaching the tension members 1 from the arms 2 the arms, the tension members and the clothes lines can fold down to lie along the post. A pin 8 co-operates with holes 7 in the post for adjusting the height of the arms. A cover, e.g. a tarpaulin or canvas, may be placed over the drier so that it acts to protect clothes from the rain or as a sun-umbrella and a garden table may be fitted round the post. Side sheets may be attached to the cover to provide a tent. An arm and associated tension member may be attached to a wall.
