Abstract

1531925 Aerials J D E S ABREU 29 Jan 1976 [29 Jan 1975] 03638/76 Heading H4A A helical aerial comprises a flat strip helical element 6 formed into the shape of a helix of progressively reducing diameter, the broad surface of which faces along the axis of the helix. Axial support 4 supports the helix via struts 3 and associated reflector 1. Improved matching to a 50# feeder and an increase in gain over prior art systems (Fig. 1, not shown), is stated to be obtained.
