Abstract

1531509 Feeding sheets BABCOCK-BSH AG 8 June 1976 [26 July 1975] 23675/76 Heading B8R Sheets are separated from the top of a pile by a row of suction separators 1, 2, Fig. 1, the outer pair 1 being inclined laterally and forwardly, and the remainder 2 being inclined forwardly. The separators are capable of being controlled individually, in pairs or as an integral unit, and the front corners of the sheet are first raised, then lowered again, and the whole front edge is then raised, whereafter a belt table 6, Fig. 4, having a small rear roller, a larger front roller 9, and a guide roller 10 is inserted below the top sheet to complete the separation, and conveys the sheet towards processing mechanism located to the right, Fig. 4.
