Abstract

1530286 Loud-speakers ELECTRO ACOUSTIC INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 Aug 1976 [13 Aug 1975] 33704/75 Heading H4J A loud-speaker includes a chassis 20 (Fig. 5) having a central opening in which a magnet assembly 7, 8 (Fig. 3) is secured by a yoke plate 10. The yoke plate 10 has a central aperture and a plurality of projections 17. These projections 17 are preferably pips formed by blanking and are initially D-shaped having an arcuate outer edge 18 to match the curvature of the central opening in the chassis 20. The magnet assembly 7, 8 is secured to the chassis 20 by deforming the projections 17 to spread them so that they overlie chassis 20 as at 22.
