Abstract

1529387 Dispensing articles C M WILLOX 6 July 1976 28035/76 Heading B8U Tubular and cylindrical objects (not shown) are located randomly in a dispenser A and are dispensed singly therefrom on actuation of a spring loaded lever B which is connected to a roller K having three circumferentiallyspaced grooves P of different respective sizes, the roller K being co-operable with a gap O defined by the lower ends of two inclined plates N. The roller K is also provided with agitators L which shake the articles in the dispenser on rotation of the roller. The arc of rotation of lever B is adjustable by means of a set-screw G. In use, a selected groove P is positioned by actuation of the lever B below the gap O and thus receives an object, and on return of the groove P to its original position on releasing the lever B the object is ejected from that groove P on to a unit C from which the object may be retrieved.
