Abstract

1529060 Elevated railways; undercarriages; locomotives JOHN LAING & SON Ltd 11 Feb 1976 [20 Feb 1975] 7196/75 Heading B7L An elevated monorail transportation system has a track formed by an open-topped hollow beam 44 provided with a vehicle support rail 45 fixed along its base, straight sections of the track having the rail disposed centrally in the beam (Fig. 2) whilst curved sections have the rail displaced laterally (Fig. 3) relative to its position in the straight sections, and a vehicle having longitudinally spaced assemblies.
