Abstract
1527721 Urea-formaldehyde compositions H HURST 8 March 1976 [9 Dec 1974] 53130/74 Heading C3R [Also in Division D1] Compositions, suitable for the treatment of building materials, comprise (a) a urea-formaldehyde resin and (b) a water-soluble siliconate dissolved or dispersed in water. Organic solvents and/or polymer lattices may also be contained in the compositions. The siliconate is preferably an alkali metal or ammonium salt of a silanol and is particularly the sodium salt of methyl silanetriol.
