Abstract

Novel substituted indoles containing a thio group, of the formula I <IMAGE> or of the formula I' <IMAGE> are prepared by introducing the heterocyclic groups indicated into the corresponding amines by substitution on the nitrogen atom. In the substituted indoles of the formulae I and I', the substituents have the meaning given in Patent Claim 1 and the thio group of these compounds can be converted into the sulphonyl group or sulphinyl group by oxidation. All these novel compounds have the effect of decreasing the heart rate.
