Abstract

1526781 Wheel-chairs LAWRENCE WILSON & SON Ltd 14 May 1976 [15 Feb 1975] 6508/75 Heading A4J [Also in Division B7] A wheel-chair having an adjustable back portion 30, 68 is provided with one or two supports 46, 74, 76 for "frog leg" plaster casts. In Fig. 1, the back, seat and leg rest portions 30, 32, 34 are adjustable from a position in which they all lie in the same plane to, for example, the position shown. Each support 46 comprises a telescopic pillar 46A rotatably mounted on a crossmember 44 slidable on the frame 4 and an arcuate member 46B universally jointed to the pillar. Alternatively, supports may be removably and adjustably secured to a metal strap overlying the seat portion 32. In Fig. 4, supports 74, 76 are removably secured to the frame 60. A table 88 is adjustably mounted on the frame and a cloth 84 directs urine from a boy into a pan carried by a tray 96.
