Abstract

1526162 Junction pieces SAUNTER DUVAL 23 March 1977 [7 May 1976] 12281/77 Heading F2G An elbow for connection in the flue to a gas boiler comprises two concentric passages and is made up of an inner tube formed of two symmetrical shells 21, 22 which in cross-section have a tube defining portion and sides 21<SP>1</SP>, 22<SP>1</SP> extending therefrom, the sides being disposed face to face, and an outer tube also formed from two shells 11, 12 which together provide a tube of greater diameter than the inner tube and have sides 11<SP>1</SP>, 12<SP>1</SP> extending therefrom, disposed face to face and sandwiching between them the sides 21<SP>1</SP>, 22<SP>1</SP> of the inner tube. The sides 12<SP>1</SP> may extend further than the sides 11<SP>1</SP> so that they may be bent over as shown to secure the assembly. Welded joints may also be employed.
